Yesterday I attended a workshop on the Science of Happiness!
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH) requires its members to take part in continued professional development (such as this course) as part of their code of conduct to ensure its therapists are working at a high standard which is up to date with new findings and theories.
The course was held in The Old Rectory in Iron Acton which was absolutely stunning, and the weather helped to make this a really enjoyable day! Here's some pictures I snapped in the lunch break!
I learnt lots of new and interesting things to use both inside and outside of the therapy room and I'm really looking forward to integrating these into my work with my clients!
A massive thanks to the two very insightful lecturers: Dorothea Read and Jade Painter; for sharing their knowledge with us and making us laugh the whole way through! Thanks also to the organiser Caroline Huish and her husband Peter Huish who own the gorgeous premises.
Really did enjoy myself and gained some valuable tools for helping to understand and create happiness!
(We were even spoilt with ice creams at the end! Perfect way to end the day.)
