What would we like to change in our lives, what would make us feel better in ourselves?
If there are things in our lives that can be changed and we feel we would benefit from that change then we create goals and targets to work towards those changes. But what if something cannot be changed?
What if the only thing that can make us happy is sunny weather for example and we live in the drizzly UK? Well you could move away to sunny Spain....
But if that’s out of the question and you’re not moving anywhere (chin up!), then we need to turn our attention inwards and ask ourselves:
How can I change my attitude towards the weather?
How can I cope better with these things in my life I have no control over?
What needs to be done to get me there?
One of the reasons why our range of treatments is so vast is because of this important process. There is no reason why we cannot be our best selves despite our circumstances.
